About the Event

This is for the registration of all Gups students for FDKs October 2023 test cycle.  Here will be the test nights:

  • Cedar Park YMCA Beginner Test (up to Orange Green belt) will be on October 25 during the Beginner class time.
  • Round Rock YMCA Beginner Test (up to Orange Green belt) will be on October 26 during the Beginner class time.   
  • Those testing for Green belt or above will test on October 28 at 12:30 pm.  Please arrive by 12:15  pm. The test will be done between 3-4 pm. The test will be at this location:

PLEASE NOTE: All testers must get regular priced tickets OR Cash Discount Tickets to test.  If choosing the Cash Discount ticket please bring the cash or check the class before the test and we will have envelopes for you to use to complete the registration.

Students testing will buy a ticket for the Gup test here and those going for 6th Gup Green belt and above will have the option to buy a ticket to have wood available at the test for them to break.  The wood ticket prices differ depending on what level students are going for.  Students can bring their own wood also.  See the Parents Guide in the Kicksite student portal (www.fdk.kicksite.net) on what wood to buy for the test if you choose to get your own. This test will follow these wood breaking guidelines:

  • Ages up to 10 years old will break boards 6x12 inch boards
  • Ages 11-16 will break 8x12 inch boards.
  • Ages 17 and up will break 10x12 inch boards.

The written portion of the test will be administered thru your computer browser.  If this is a student's first test then you will receive an email from www.Classmarker.com with a user id and password.  If this is not your first test then use your existing login information.  The test will be available all of test week from Monday to Sunday.  The written test study guide can be found at www.fdk.kicksite.net.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Parents, you MUST sign your child's (under 18) physical test form thru a Google form we have setup to avoid hard copies.  Here is the link to the form HERE.

    This ticket is for the FDK Gup Test. This GUP Test option lets us know you plan to pay in person by cash/check for DISCOUNT. You must do so before the test in order for the student to test. You can put up to 4 testing students on this ticket. Please include the name of each tester on the ticket. Thank you!

  • Green Wood Cash Discount - $5

    This ticket includes wood for test for those going for 6th Gup Green belt. This option lets us know you plan to pay in person by cash/check for DISCOUNT. You must do so before the test in order for the student to test. All unbroken wood will be returned to FDK.

    This ticket includes wood for test for those going for 5th Gup Green/Brown belt to 3rd Gup Brown/Red belt. This option lets us know you plan to pay in person by cash/check for DISCOUNT. You must do so before the test in order for the student to test. All unbroken wood will be returned to FDK.

    This ticket includes wood for test for those going for 2nd Gup Red belt to 1st Gup Red/Blue belt. This option lets us know you plan to pay in person by cash/check for DISCOUNT. You must do so before the test in order for the student to test. All unbroken wood will be returned to FDK.
